我々NIH Japanese Scientists Association
(NJSA)は、NIHと連携して、被災した研究者のご支援を迅速、効果的に行うためにこのサイトを設立しました。
At 2:46 pm on March 11, 2011, an
earthquake of the largest magnitude (9.0) in
recorded Japan's history struck off the Sanriku
coast, churning up a devastating tsunami that left
twenty-seven thousand people dead or missing in the
northern part of the country. The disaster also
incited explosions at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear
power plants, triggering the worst nuclear
emergency in Japan's history and compounding the
imminent hardships felt by the Japanese
people.
We would like to express our
deep condolence to the disaster victims. We are
deeply concerned for the well-being of the affected
population. Hopefully they can surmount the
difficult situation and can recover from the
disaster as soon as possible.
With the initiative of the
National Institutes of Health (NIH), the NIH
Japanese Scientists Association (NJSA), has
established this web site to provide support for
the affected biomedical researchers quickly and
effectively.
